Orient Express

For the Orient Express commission the fabrics had been selected to match the interior of the original train. But as they weren't as correct as needed I recoloured and modified them and designed carpeting to match.

Browns

Browns' brief was to design a small collection of hand-knit sweaters. I've always been fascinated by cave paintings, so I developed imagery concentrating on animals. I was thrilled when it was agreed that I could have different images on the front, back and sleeves of the sweaters and gilets. Faith Wilson, a knit designer friend, brilliantly translated my paper sweater paintings into hand-knit patterns.
