Four at Seven

A friend, Diana Johnson, invited me and two other women to exhibit with her at the Seven Dials Gallery in Covent Garden. I decided to research all the painters that had made a big impression on me, such as Bonnard, Chagall, Dufy, Matisse and Picasso. From their paintings I selected figures, animals and objects and mixed them together to create a dream effect. To emphasise this effect, all the images were airbrushed through intricately cut paper stencils.
